1920 Automatic Electric "Step Based" candlestick phone
with original black, wood ringer box. "Mercedes" dial,
and nickel faceplate. This was the first phone that set the design
pattern for all the subsequent dial candlestick phones. It first
appeared around 1912 with an even more primitive dial, the "sunburst"
dial.

subset and new, all black powder coat finish. Small diameter AE23
dial and marked faceplate. This is the very early version of the
type 21 candlestick. |

powder coat finish. AE24 dial. Has very unusual tall perch, 1/2

Circa mid 20's Kellogg F-118 dial candlestick
with original and correct transmitter, receiver, Kellogg metal
ringer box and AE24 dial. This one has a black transmitter and
chrome fingerwheel, bakelite wrapper on shaft, new black powder
coat finish. These have become VERY, VERY difficult to find.

nickel North dial, nickel S.C. transmitter (and entire upper part
of the body) and marked, bakelite receiver. Original metal S.C.
ringer box. Modular connector on brown, cloth covered cord. The
most decorative dial candlestick phone made.

teens Western Electric 50AL dial candlestick. New powder coat
finish, 144 receiver, #2 dial, 634a metal subset with modular
cord. This was their first dial stick phone. These had the patent
info on the side or back of the base instead of the front (as
on the 51AL) and is marked 50AL on back of the perch (neck). |
